Why Ads?
The Tweetree project is a labor of love for all of us at Draconis Software. We want to spend all our time on it to make it the best Twitter client possible, and in order to do that we need to find a way to get a return on our time invested.
In order to be able to dedicate more time to working on Tweetree, we are exploring multiple options to make it profitable for us while maintaining the best possible user experience. Our first exploration can be seen in the form of advertisements in your home stream.

We will strive to keep the ads as unobtrusive and tasteful as possible so that they don't take away from your viewing experience. We will be listening carefully to all feedback we receive on the ads, so be sure to let us know what you think. Don't hesitate to give us your opinion on specific ads or the ad setup in general.
